Dark Burgundy Vase Bałwanek, Glassworks Tarnowiec, Poland of the 1970s

95,00

  • EUR: 22,34€

Double-layer sodium glass. This is the end of these wisdoms.

In the 1970s there was probably a trace of products of Tarnów in every home. So everyone had something that was interior design, and this is something, not just a flower vase.

So you can consider vases from the glassworks in Tarnowiec as a kind of luxury, care for the aesthetics of the home space, not providing basic needs, but something more. From what I know, they were also not cheap. I call them urban forms, urban folklore, not to speak bourgeois design.

I like them because they are unexamined, equipped with simple blocks, a bit like Scandinavian, they please the eye especially in a group.

The vase is in perfect condition.

Huta Szkła Tarnowiec ceased operations in July 2012.

Height: 17 cm

Inlet diameter: 10 cm

Base diameter: 8.5 cm
